I didn’t run as many races as I wanted to this year, due to the wedding and honeymoon planning. But I’m proud to say I shave off about 2:30 minutes from my first 5k in 2009.
2012: Boulder Marathon 5 Mile, BolderBoulder 10k, Turkey Trot 5k
While I didn’t run many races, I did a lot of hiking with Jack. Some were pretty tough, which left me sore for days but it was worth it! I also took up a weekly spin class at my local gym. It’s a great way to sweat first thing in the morning and push yourself to the max.
In 2013 I plan on running twice as many races, including my first half marathon, and getting some PR’s under my belt. I’ll keep you posted!
